thx Nils, you wrote it before me
now second:
if you dont know nothing about good stuff / good manners, so its better for you to just sit quiet
maybe it will make you look as "good" in caraudio / not an a**hole in real life
you would be even "smarter" if you had checked that I already sold two DD 95Z subs here on forum and this kevlar one with extra coil is my old one.
but the point is that you are absolutely not informed about really GOOD and powerfull stuff / possibly newbie in caraudio
lets begin from at DD 95Z and DD 99Z is two DIFFERENT subs (did you know that?)
95Z has at least twice less NEO magnets on motor if compare with 99Z, so less "power" on motor system (lets skip all other features as coils, spiders etc.)
DC NEO has more or equal to DD 99Z total NEO magnet on motor
if we will begin to compare this three subs superficially, we will see the main differences between them:
DD 95Z - sub is oriented for daily use, little more powerfull motor system and better cooling than on the usual DD 95 series with ferrit magnet motor.
DD 99Z - sub is fully oriented to SPL competitions, tight gap on motor system will not fit to use sub on daily. Music or dirty signal can kill it easily (you can read more about gap sizes, motor types etc. on caraudio oriented forums). Plus very high prices at all.
DC NEO - sub is something between daily / SPL competitions. It have alot of motor power with optimal gap size for daily / SPL use. You will not damage coils so easy at dirty (clipped) or just usual high level musical signal. Prices for recone kits on DC NEO almost twice cheaper than on DD.
Subs of the both brands are hand made in USA.
It is over 10 years im in caraudio, i have been tried / tested enough much different subs /amps. I like to compete and i want to play music all day LOUD. On my point DC NEO is the best choice. Thats why i already bought and got two 15" DC NEOs. Only because of this reason my 18" is for sale now.
Anyway, everyone who interessted in DC Audio can read more here http://www.dcsoundlab.com/index.html
P.S. For everyone others: do not misunderstand me. I really love both brands. Cant wait for my new DD M4a amplifier and DD VO 6.5 .
